Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA)

 

I have been an Associate Member (AMIMA) since 2020, having upgraded from Student Membership (which I held from 2018) upon graduating with my MMath degree.

The IMA is the UK's professional and learned society for mathematics and performs a number of different roles. Some of the Institute's activities include the hosting of conferences and management of a number of publications.

Royal Meteorological Society (RMetS)

 

I joined the RMetS as Student Member in 2020 before beginning my PhD studies. 

The Royal Meteorological Society is the leading independent expert in weather and climate. Its goal is to promote the understanding and application of Meteorology.

European Geosciences Union (EGU)

I joined the EGU in 2020 as a PhD student.

The European Geosciences Union is the leading organisation for Earth, planetary and space science research in Europe. With their partner organisations worldwide, they foster fundamental geoscience research, alongside applied research that addresses key societal and environmental challenges. Their vision is to realise a sustainable and just future for humanity and for the planet.
